About Us
Strong’s Industrial Service was founded by Jerry Strong, and we’ve been proudly serving our Central Virginia community since 1987. Jerry’s journey in the forklift world started by getting his hands dirty as a helper when he was still in high school and he quickly developed a passion for working with forklifts, setting him on his ultimate career path.
Sales
New forklifts have an average lifespan of 10,000 – 13,000 pedal hours. Just like a car, when you reach that number of pedal hours it may be time to consider replacing it. If a new forklift is not quite in the budget, a cost effective used forklift may be just the answer. We carry a variety of used forklifts ranging from 3,000 lbs to 10,000 lbs and larger.
Rentals
Often, a forklift or pallet jack will break down at the worst possible time. When they do, business cannot just stop – customers expect their products. Manually lifting merchandise can be both time consuming and dangerous.
